Our student board works with staff to create meaningful religious, social, community service, and learning experiences for students. Through these programs, board members build strong connections with one another, their peers, the local Jewish community, and the international Hillel network. Student leaders not only make an impact on campus, but also gain hands-on experience in leadership, event execution, and communication skills that serves them well beyond college.

Hi everyone! My name is Cayla, and I am the Director of Student and Community Engagement at Hillel for Utah. This is my first year as the solo professional of Hillel for Utah, and I am thrilled to be help support this fantastic college student organization! I work with our student board and supervise all student facing aspects of the organization under the guidance of the United Jewish Federation of Utah.
A little about me:
I grew up in a suburb of New York City and moved to Southeast Florida while in high school. Always interested in leading a Jewish life, I was involved in many Jewish student organizations in high school and college. I received my Bachelors of Science in Business Management: International Business in December 2020 from Florida Gulf Coast University. Post college, I realized my passion for Jewish Communal Work and worked for BBYO part-time in Naples, FL and volunteered as the Naples Jewish Young Professionals Coordinator. I am excited to be in Utah and bring my love for Jewish life to campus and Utah!
